Types of yard vacuum
The size of your lawn or yard will determine the need for a yard vacuum. It is an apparatus that is used to clean up debris, sticks or leaves. Basically, there are three types of these vacuums; tow lawn vacuum, push yard and hand-held.
Handheld
The handheld type is basically a leaf blower that doubles up as a vacuum. They are very efficient as you can use them on hard to reach areas such as behind bushes and along the fence. They are the cheapest variety with most being sold for less than $100.
Push yard
Push yard are similar to push lawn mowers. They are like large vacuum cleaners with some of them having shredders or chippers. They can be used to get rid of leaves and small twigs and branches on a yard.
Tow lawn
The last type of yard vacuum is the tow lawn vacuum. It is large and can be attached to most garden tractors. It has a shredder or chipper that can handle large tree branches. They also have long hoses that you can use on tighter spaces in your yard.
